Another failed bank, another round of bumper bonuses, more public outrage. Only this time it's different. When a banker falls from Tower Bridge, it looks like a simple case of suicide. But then a second banker dies, and then a third... Could someone be angry enough to kill?

But as DI Frank Brighouse soon discovers, the three deceased were about to share in a £150 million bonus pool, along with nine others. When he learns that the surviving members' pay-outs rise with every death, Frank's suspicions turn to one of the group - joker Mickey Summer, a trader who worked his way up from post-room to boardroom. Mickey needs his bonus to sort out his messed-up private life and will fight against the odds to keep it. But he could be the next to die.
